ABSTRACT
Since the end of the Second World War in 1945, Human Rights have become a
major issue in international politics and a primary item on the global agenda.
With the internationalization of the idea that the protection of the basic rights of
man knows no boundaries or state jurisdictional authority, it became axiomatic
that the members of the international community have an obligation to ensure
that governments all over the world guarantees and protect internationally
recognized human rights, without any prejudice to state sovereignty.
